Pipiri / June

MastheadrevisedKia ora and welcome to our fifth monthly update. Lots of news, people and media stories this month: registration has opened for the 2016 Asia Pacific Outgames in Auckland, we look at women-oriented Matariki events around the country; and a lesbian musical may tour the main centres, plus there are several new Auckland events. In media, we have two perspectives on the wonderful Carol Ann Duffy, and a new queer photography exhibition. On our people page, we profile the successful and expanding events of the Lilac Library in Wellington.

If you haven’t already subscribed to our monthly email reminder, scroll down this page and type in your email address. For those reading this on your phone, turn it to landscape view to see the stories better.

We’re adding new classified ads and businesses as we receive them on our Services page, and these are all currently free.

We add new Dyke Diary entries, Services, and details for Social or Support organisations during the month. Email us and we’ll respond as quickly as possible.

And have you liked us on Facebook? – that’s where you’ll see more immediate commentary, posts and re-posts, in between updates here.

Any feedback? – we welcome your comments (at the bottom of every page) and contributions. Thanks!
