Haratua (May)

Kia ora and welcome to our Haratua update.

A good mix of news items: groups have beginnings (Whanganui) and endings (Whangarei). Our coverage ranges from young (National Shift hui, Rainbow Youth in Auckland) to old (Silver Rainbow). Work on a national Rainbow strategy is under way, and the success of the ILGA Oceania conference in Wellington has lead to plans for more ILGA activity.

Our People page features a profile of a lesbian who has worked in a range of interesting organisations and causes, and on our Media page you can read about Sam RB’s next art exhibition, and get this month’s recommendation for a good read: a lesbian graphic memoir.

And check out the Photos page – like Dyke Diary, we update this during the month, whenever photos come in.

See our Services page for classified ads and businesses, currently free. Email us your Dyke Diary, Social and Support group updates and we’ll put them online as quickly as possible. We welcome comments (at the bottom of every page) and contributions. Thanks!

If you prefer to read LNA on paper click on print at the top of our main pages. If you’re reading this on your phone, use landscape view to see the stories better.
